Asia Editorials

One task of the Asian Survivor project was to create an editorial page about an issue in a country from their assigned region. Students interviewed people from their country and each team member contributed to the editorial by compiling information into a word processing presentation tool. Click the link below for an example of an editorial from Afghanistan.

Junior high students created a keynote presentation on a battle of World War I. As an extension to the project, students “flew” from Nobleboro to their battlefield using Google Earth. The Battle of Tannenberg was created by a seventh grade student.

The XO LaptopMay and her brother received special gifts during the holiday season. As participants of the One Laptop per Child program, they received two XO laptops while another two were sent to children in a developing nation.
